Description

The CREATIVITY LAB has a video recording studio available for any staff member at the University to book to record a single-person video. The space is available Monday 10am-4pm and Wednesday 10am-4pm (times must be requested at least 3 days in advance). 

Festive period closure

The studio will be closed over the following period:

• This service will be closed from Monday 15th December 2025 for the festive period and will reopen on Monday 5th January 2026. 

The space is set up with the following equipment:

• High definition Sony 4K camera
• Professional quality Shure MV7 microphone
• Laptop with recording software installed
• Additional computer monitor
• Ring light and extra-bright LED studio light
• Comfortable gaming chair
• Drawing tablet for whiteboards and annotations, which can also be recorded.

An easy-to-use Teleprompter, which allows you to read a script while facing the camera.
